why borrowed?

i needed a simpler way to consolodate my favourite recipes so i need not search for them everytime and rely solely on the purple shade in google to tell me i’d visited the site before (‘aha!’ i’d think, ‘here’s the recipe i was looking for! oh wait, i visited this one and decided not to use six pounds of butter…now where IS that recipe?’). my ‘favourites toolbar’ was becoming a disorganized mess with brownie recipes alongside spanish-learning resources (although http://www.la-escuela.com is a personal favourite for that matter).

i also needed to stop slacking on sending people the recipes for those “ahhhhhhmazing” salt-and-chocolate cookies or the “best ever” brownies…because in truth, it’s just laziness. it isn’t that i want to keep these for myself- they aren’t even my recipes!

thus, this website is designed as a tribute to the brilliant chefs and their incredible recipes. i’ll be putting up the best and brightest, in accordance with my tastebuds (i.e. a severe lacking on the meat side and a big push on the sweet tooth side), and hoping you will all benefit- as i have- from these incredible people and their incredible recipes.
